Christopher R. Robyn - Associate
Mr. Robyn joined Bates Winter & Associates with substantial experience in Intellectual Property and Workers’ Compensation, particularly in entertainment industry and Alternative Dispute Resolution programs respectively. He has devoted his professional experience to representation in federal and state courts and also has broad-based practice experience covering medical malpractice, class action, employment, business, personal injury, municipality, and Unfair Business Competition (California Business & Professions Code, Section 17200) based actions.
Mr. Robyn has represented a wide variety of professional athletes, musicians, record producers, record labels, entertainment managers, and entertainment based internet companies. He founded, owned, and served as Ombudsman for California’s largest provider of Workers’ Compensation Alternative Dispute Resolution programs under both construction and non-construction labor/management Collective Bargaining Agreements, American Ombudsman Enterprises. Established through the legislative overhaul to workers’ compensation law in 1994, Mr. Robyn applied his strength of reason to assist in the resolution of hundreds of workers’ compensation claims prior to the parties pursuing litigation.
Mr. Robyn completed his undergraduate studies at University of California, at Davis, majoring in
political science with a minor in sociology. In 2005, he received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. During law school, he was selected to the trial advocacy honors program in 2004 and 2005.
Mr. Robyn has represented clients throughout the state of California.
